BOQ pricing automation is software that reads a bill of quantities, matches each line to the items and rates in your price list, applies your margin rules and prepares the priced BOQ or quotation for an estimator to check. BOQs in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt arrive in every layout: Excel with merged cells, scanned PDFs, Arabic and English descriptions on the same line, and specifications that name a brand or an equivalent. A useful system reads all of them, keeps the contractor's original line numbers so the priced BOQ can be returned in the same structure, and flags lines where the description, unit or specification does not match anything with confidence. The estimator decides those lines, and approves the margin before the price goes out.

  1. Ingest. The BOQ is read from Excel or PDF, keeping the original line numbers, sections and units.
